Self transitions are currently rendered as a single arrow that goes from the transition node to the state node, which I personally find a bit confusing, it always takes a second for me to realize it’s a transition that goes from the state to the state itself.

I think something like two arrows (one from the state to the transition, and one from the transition to the state) or an arrow with two caps would be clearer in its meaning.
